Fibre optics lighting  - How does it work?

There is no electricity in the tails or fibre optic lights and the lights UV and IR rays are eliminated. The light emitted from the lamp inside the fibre optic light source is focused to shine onto the common end (the plug where all the tails are joined) and the light refracts all the way down the length of the fibre optic cable tails. Colour changes are achieved by a rotating colour wheel located in front of the lamp.
